¿CÓMO SE CONVIRTIÓ EN PÁJARO UNA PIEDRA? 

 

Mi piedra creció

dentro de un pájaro.

Yo lo abrazaba todas las noches.

 

Un día sopló un viento polvoriento y amarillo

y esta piedra cayó desde un valle en el cielo.

 

"Eres tan cálida

y hermosa;

que duermas bien."

 

La tranquilicé y arrullé para que se durmiese.

Cuando despertó,

supe que echaría a volar.

 

Yo quería ver sus ojos.

Quería que nuestras

miradas se unieran.

HOW DID A STONE BECOME A BIRD?

 

My stone grew

into a bird.

I embraced it every night.

 

One day a dusty yellow wind blew

and this stone fell from a valley in the sky.

 

“You are so warm

and so lovely;

have a good sleep."

 

I soothed and lulled it to sleep.

When it woke up,

I knew it would fly away. 

 

I wanted to see its eyes.

I wanted our

eyes to gather together.
