EN LA TIERRA

 

Uno está aquí

y hay sin embargo otro lugar

a lo largo de algún camino hacia el infierno

donde todo está bien– 

 

o al cielo

incluso

donde todos los santos todavía esperan

y guardan la puerta dorada.

One’s here

and there is still elsewhere

along some road to hell

where all is well– 

 

or heaven

even

where all the saints still wait

and guard the golden gate.
