Pero somos prácticos

—aunque el invierno es largo & por mucho que uno

ahorre nunca es

suficiente

El amor llega en silencio,

finalmente, cae

sobre mí, encima de mí,

del modo acostumbrado.

¿Qué sabía yo

al pensar que era capaz de recorrer

solo todo el camino?

But we are practical

—but winter is long & however much one

does save, there is never

enough

finally, drops

What did I know

thinking myself

able to go

alone all the way.
