¿DÓNDE ESTÁ LA PAZ DE ESTE POEMA?
¡Oye poeta!
Que la rama de olivo viva
y libere la carga de su propia amargura.
para que ella pueda recordar volar sin rumbo
La daga está cansada de traiciones
Las balanzas quieren pesarse a sí mismas para variar
y tiembla el umbral de cada página
cuando bocas francas cuentan rupturas de palabras
y dedos torcidos deletrean cabezas en cifras
¡Oye poeta!
Recorre el último retruécano por el tamiz de las primeras intenciones
Pela la prudencia de los adverbios hasta el centro de los silencios ocultos
Entinta la sangre de los adjetivos dentro del corazón de todas las cosas sombreadas
y convierte en verbos la espera de todos los sustantivos instantáneos
Sostén las manecillas de los relojes y balancéate:
¡Nací para humanizar así las palabras!
Cada pluma viviente es otra arma rota
La poesía nunca morirá,
pero quizá un día,
un día terriblemente osado,
hablaremos sin metáforas.

Hey Poet!
Let the olive branch live
and liberate the burden of its own bitterness
Forget the dove once in a while,
so it can remember flying without a direction
The dagger is weary of betrayals
The scales want to weigh themselves for a change
and the threshold of each page trembles
when straight mouths count the break of words
and crooked fingers spell heads into numbers
Hey poet!
Run the last of the puns through the sieve of first intentions
Peel the prudence of adverbs to the core of smuggled silences
Ink the blood of adjectives into the heart of all shadowed things
and verb the waiting of all instant nouns
Hold the hands of the clock and sway:
I was born to humanize words this way!
Every living pen is another broken gun
Poetry will never die but perhaps one day,
one fearfully fearless day
we shall speak without metaphors
