Encuentro muy difícil entusiasmarse

con las noticias de actualidad.

Justo cuando piensas que el panorama es tan negro que al menos

ya no puede serlo más, empeora,

y ésa es la razón por la que no me gustan las noticias, porque nunca

ha habido una época en la que tantas cosas le vayan tan bien

a las personas equivocadas.

 

 

 

VERSOS PARA HACER FRENTE A LOS CUARENTA

 

Tengo cuentas que ajustar con el Destino.

Ven y dime, nena,

¿crees que mi mente es de maduración tardía

o que sencillamente se ha podrido demasiado pronto?

I find it very difficult to enthuse

Over the current news.

Just when you think that at least the outlook is so black that it can

grow no blacker, it worsens,

And that is why I do not like the news, because there has never

been an era when so many things were going so right for so many

of the wrong persons.
