LAS HERRAMIENTAS DE LA PACIENCIA

 

 

Pongo un collar de poesía

alrededor del cuello del momento,

y huyen las limitaciones del tiempo.

A bordo del enigmático horizonte

revisto de luz la mente.

Arrojo al horno en llamas

la lava de la sospecha.

Empleando las herramientas de la paciencia

domo el corazón de los desiertos,

con la filosofía de la generosidad

consigo los laureles de la riqueza,

y en la cúspide del mortal nihilismo

abrazo el milagro de la supervivencia.

THE TOOLS OF PATIENCE

 

I place a necklace of poetry

around the neck of the moment,

and flee the limitations of time.

Aboard the enigmatic horizon

I clothe the mind with light.

I cast the lava of suspicion

into the flaming furnace.

Employing the tools of patience

I tame the heat of the deserts,

employing the philosophy of generosity

I attain laurels of riches.

and at the peak of death nihilism.

I embrace the miracle of survival.

مذراة الصبّر

بالشعر أرصّع جيد الوقت

أفرّ من محدودية الزمن

على متن الأفق الملغّز

ألبس الفكر حلل الضياء،

أرمي في الأتون اللاّهب

حمم الربية.

بمذراة الصبر

أروض قحط الصّحارى،

بمجانيّة فلسفة السّخاء

أبلغ أكاليل الثّراء

وفي أوج خواء الرّحيل

أعانق معجزة البقاء.
